Weekends weddings are the most popular and tend to book up over a year in advance, especially during spring and summer. To avoid disappointment, we recommend getting in touch as early as possible.

We have a live booking system, so we can quickly share up-to-date availability for the next two years to help you find your perfect date.

Yes, we can hold your preferred date for up to two weeks from the date of your initial enquiry.

We can host up to 100 guests (including the couple) on your wedding day. For accommodation, we can offer 16 self catering holiday cottages, sleeping up to 93 guests.

Absolutely! We have a range of fantastic wedding celebration spaces and we’re licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies:

  • Two indoor licensed rooms

  • Outdoor wedding garden gazebo

You can also opt for a bespoke non-religious ceremony with one of our trusted celebrants.

Yes, you’re welcome to bring in your own marquee supplier. You can even extend the main wedding room with a marquee for extra space (perfect for a bar, photo booth, chill-out lounge or evening buffet).

We offer relaxed weekend weddings from Friday 4pm to Monday 10am, giving you:

  • Setup time on Friday

  • A chilled wedding morning

  • The big day on Saturday

  • A relaxed farewell on Sunday

All entertainment must end by 12 midnight.

No, yours is the only wedding onsite that weekend. The Knockerdown site is exclusively yours!

Access begins from Friday at 4pm, but we’ll do our best to offer earlier access if available. Just check with your wedding coordinator.

Yes, our wedding venue is DIY friendly, and we’re flexible with styling. You can bring your own decor or work with our recommended stylist.

Allowed:

  • Biodegradable confetti

  • Hanging bunting (bring ladders!)

Here’s what’s included:

  • Outdoor wedding gazebo setup (benches + aisle poles, if needed)

  • Brackendale suite (events space): white tablecloths, chairs and tables

Cutlery, crockery, and glassware are usually supplied by your caterer or can be hired in. You’re welcome to use ours, but remember, this is a DIY venue, so washing and clearing is your responsibility.

Yes, we recommend The Greedy Pig, who can handle everything from canapes to breakfast, including all service and equipment. You’re also welcome to choose your own caterer. See our recommended suppliers list for more information.

Yes you can bring your own alcohol. There’s no corkage fees with our Weekend Wedding Package. We recommend buying from suppliers that offer sale or return for unopened bottles.

There’s no onsite bar, but you’re welcome to bring in a mobile bar. Bars selling alcohol must have a TENS licence and public liability insurance. We’ll ask for copies of these 3 months before your wedding.

Yes! The Brackendale Room has ample power sockets. Let your coordinator know your entertainment plans so we can ensure everything is set up just right.

Please ensure all suppliers have Public Liability Insurance and Risk Assessments. We reserve the right to refuse suppliers without these documents.

Yes, we’re family friendly. We have great onsite facilities, including:

  • Outdoor children’s play area

  • Games room

  • Large meadow for running around

You can also bring in entertainers, a mobile creche, or pop on a movie to keep little ones entertained.
