Set on the cusp of the Peak District National Park in the heart of rural Derbyshire, this stunning countryside location provides total exclusivity for a whole weekend not just for a day. You can create a wedding celebration unlike any other for you, your family and your guests. Knockerdown offers you a blank canvas, to create an unforgettable weekend of celebrations based on your personality, style and beliefs. With the venue entirely yours for the whole weekend, with the freedom to choose your own suppliers, we want you to treat it like it’s your home.
Once you and your guests have arrived, you can just park up, check in and relax for the duration of your stay. Your guests can choose to stay in one of our sixteen well equipped self-catering holiday cottages. On site facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, children’s play area, a communal games room and lots of grounds to explore.
We of course understand that organising a wedding can be tricky and time consuming so our events team will be on hand and aim to support you with your wedding weekend arrangements to the utmost, should you need them. If not and your preference is for a more low key and laid back affair then we can simply hand you the keys and leave you to enjoy your weekend in complete privacy.
