Knockerdown street serves as the vibrant "hub" of our Derbyshire wedding village, offering a spacious and open area from which paths extend in various directions, leading to different settings.

This wide open space fosters a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for festival-style events. It provides an ideal backdrop for capturing those cherished confetti moments and group shots, ensuring lasting memories.

To enhance the ambiance, you have the flexibility to invite different suppliers to set up along Knockerdown Street, creating a lively and enjoyable experience for everyone. Foodie and drink vans, photo booths, and ice cream carts can all contribute to the vibrant energy "in the street."

The Carsington room creates a fantastic relaxation area and is located next door to the games room and is fully licensed to host wedding ceremonies, providing a delightful setting for your vows.

It offers a great space for a photo booth, sweet cart, or even a TV for children to watch or play video games. It can also serve as a play centre for little ones, ensuring entertainment for guests of all ages. Throughout your stay, you could set up a a tea and coffee station, allowing you and your guests to enjoy a warm beverage whenever desired.

Additionally, the Carsington room serves as an indoor drinks reception area, complete with a pop-up station for drinks and delicious canapés. You can also use the adjacent games room mentioned before to expand your space for a memorable celebration.

The outdoor wedding gazebo is nestled in the meadow, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills and open countryside of Derbyshire.

This wedding gazebo is fully licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies, featuring an alfresco aisle, guest benches, and a registrar table.

In case of inclement weather, we have an indoor alternative. The Brackendale room 100-person events space can be transformed into a space for an indoor civil wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, the gazebo area is perfect for a group drinks reception, where you can indulge in canapes and champagne to celebrate the big day.

We are a dog friendly wedding venue! We love dogs as much as you do, which is why we offer dog-friendly spaces at our venue. Your furry friends are welcome to join in the wedding celebration, as we provide designated areas where they can enjoy the day with you. From leisurely walks in our beautiful gardens to designated play areas, we have created safe and comfortable spaces for your dogs.
